We've been pretty busy having fun and doing some projects here at the Heart Land Homestead. This past weekend was action packed family fun!
Last week was Daddy's 33rd birthday. So Saturday night we got to Celebrate with a couple of friends, SC Family I like to call them! We also got to spend the morning at the Park with Carolina Mommy's Family. The 2 Daddy's are trying to put together a Boy Scout Troop. Sunday was an Awesome Day of Fellowship, 1st with the little 2yr olds in the nursery and then in our ABF. Sunday afternoon we spent with the A Family helping put a playset together, swimming and having supper. Monday as we celebrated the Indepenance of our Country (and the honor we have serving it) we went to Ft Stewart in GA for a free concert by the Zac Brown Band. I'm not much for secular music, but I am from the south and love a good ol country song! It was a fun filled day and nice to have a break from the everydays here at the Homestead!. Tuesday Daddy got to have off of work, well at least the work the Corps makes him do. He had plenty of work here at the Homestead. We both did! We spent almost all day outside working in the yard, playing with the animals, and having fun with Bubby and Baby J.
Today Daddy went back to work. I went back to my "everydays" as well as worked my Mary Kay business! It paid off too! :) For supper Aunt Jane and Pa came by on their way back to FL from NC. It was a blast to get to spend a few hours with them! We'd love to spend more, but that will have to wait til we go to FL for vacation.
The week just started, yet it is almost over. Can't wait for what is in store for tomorrow! Hopefully I will be able to finish a few projects by weekends ends!
